Immerse yourself in an inspiring world with us in the stylish studio of this beautiful art nouveau villa overlooking the Elbe. It’s the 1st of May weekend, so you might even be able to enjoy a short trip to beautiful Hamburg. The boutique hotel is located in the first row on the Elbe, so you can take a wonderful walk along the Elbe in the May sunshine during your lunch break. You will find the villa with 12 individual rooms in the famous staircase district in Blankenese, which is culturally interesting and has great restaurants.

A WHOLE DAY FULL OF CREATIVITY & MEANINGFULNESS

For one day, you will disconnect from your everyday life and dedicate yourself to creating your own perfume under Corinna’s professional guidance and assistance. How relaxing is that?

In the morning, you will get to know all the essences of the selected fragrance range intensively and explore the first inspiring accords. Corinna will introduce each essence and you will learn how to smell them properly. And since we have plenty of time on this special day, you have an extended range of essences at your disposal, so you can go into many directions with your perfume creation.

100% NATURAL ESSENCES

The individual facets are easily grasped, olfactorily perceived, and become familiar. You will discover the difference between base notes, middle notes and top notes for the classic structure of a perfume, learn about a first simple fragrance architecture as well as the classic fragrance families. We use 100% natural essences such as rare woods, precious floral absolutes, sensual spices and warm gourmand notes.

LUNCH with the PERFUMER

Over a light lunch in the sun-drenched Club Room of the Strandhotel, you will receive additional, exciting insider tips from Corinna and can ask personal questions about your perfume design ideas so that you can learn even more.

YOUR OWN CREATED PERFUME

In the afternoon, you will create your own personal perfume intuitively and playfully, supported by Corinna’s tips and expertise. Finally, you will learn how to fill your eau de parfum into your high-quality glass bottle (15 ml) – just like in the lab. You will of course take your perfume home with you later, including the recipe.

FEAST for ALL SENSES

Finally, we fortify ourselves with delicious petit fours with edible flowers as well as rosemary-pear-goat’s cheese sandwiches & cucumber sandwiches with yuzu cream cheese & dill flowers. We will toast together with a glass of Prosecco or hibiscus tonic (non-alcoholic) while we talk about the finished 100% natural eau de parfums. This is a great way to end the day – and all in this beautiful setting with a fantastic view over the Elbe.

NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY

Du kannst völlig ohne Vorkenntnisse in unseren Perfumery Day Retreat kommen. Ab 15 Jahren. Die Freude am kreativen Ausprobieren steht im Vordergrund! Alle benötigten Materialien werden von uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Du wirst sehen – es ist etwas Wunderbares, mit natürlichen Essenzen zu experimentieren, und deine Kreativität entfaltet sich ganz von allein!

MEANING [ RETREAT ]

„Retreat“, englisch für „Rückzug“, bezeichnet eine geplante Ruhepause oder ein Rückzug von der gewohnten Umgebung. Während der Begriff im Englischen auch allgemein für Phasen von Entspannung oder Stressabbau benutzt wird, hat sich im deutschen Sprachraum die Bedeutung einer spirituellen Praxis durchgesetzt.

In unserem entspannenden Perfumery Day Retreat erlebst du Rückzug aus deiner gewohnten Umgebung und lässt Stress los durch Fokussierung. Du kultivierst deinen inneren Künstler, während du spielerisch entscheidest, welche deine Lieblings-Essenzen sind und in welche Duftrichtung du dein Parfum entstehen lässt. Dein innerer Beobachter hat viel Zeit wahrzunehmen, welch eine Vielfalt von Gefühlen und Erinnerungen dich dabei durchströmen.
